Would I still buy a Stryker with a 75mm gun on it? Hell yes I would! I printed a battery of the Hawkeyes too, and i may go for a battalion of them just because.

I think you mentioned it before, PG, and I agree 100% that RCH is a game changer. That would be an ideal fire support platform for a Stryker brigade.

The game-changing aspects of RCH are firing on the move during individual vehicle independent movement to bring converging fires on a target, then adjusting or shifting fires, as well as rapid fire and rapid reloading. The system can be tracked or wheeled. The SYSTEM COULD also be adapted to mortars and lighter guns, as well as lighter chassis. So we could revolutionize artillery fire support with some imagination and A little effort. I don't think, hoever, that the Boxer RCH is the solution for Stryker brigades. We need a common chassis.

G Troop is finally done! Callsign Grizzly! It took longer than I expected because I knew the M88 was soaking in simple green somewhere and I couldn't find it. I finally found the correct jar of soaking vehicles, stripped it, and got it painted up and ready to recover some broken down tanks.

Mostly GHQ vehicles, except for the HMMWVs and maintenance M113 that are CinC, and the trailers that are printed.

I also added some vehicles to 2nd Howitzer battery, so the regiment is currently at 30% strength.

That's some very nice work, redleg. I did a try to work with foam card, but never gave suit. How long did it take to do that building?

Sorry Foxbat, I missed your question. The building took me about week to do, but I am scrapping it and I am going to print a new HQ building from a legit 3D file rather than trying to scratch build my own. My skills don't match my vision! LOL

When I started the refurb effort on the ACR project I was being very methodical. A platoon or two into the dip to soak, then strip it, and repaint it. That worked great for 1st squadron, and then for E, F, and G Troops. And then I dropped the old storage box on day. Instead of sorting the vehicles before soaking them I just threw a bunch of pieces into the dip, and now here is the result.

These vehicles are ready to join the regiment: the Paladins and FAASVs are for howitzer battery, the M88 and 3 of the trucks are for D Company, and the rest are for HHT. Except for the GHQ M113s – those are for the regimental combat engineer company and have no idea how they got not this batch! LOL The regiment is up to 32% strength!

Thanks, Fellas!

I just finished H Company this past weekend. Callsign Hunter. Almost all GHQ. The maintenance APC and the HMMWVs are CinC, and the trailers are printed. The regiment is 33% complete.
