In their most recent releases GHQ has included GEN29, DD Z-35, also known as the 1936b type. It's not my favorite choice, but not bad.
Note that this class does not differ significantly from the 1936 type (about 2% larger and more 20mm and 37mm guns), which has already been produced by GHQ as GEN3. I intend to get 4 packs (only 2 ships per pack) to model the 8 planned ships, for the extra light and medium AA.
I would have preferred that GHQ produce Z-46 (1936C type) or Z-52 (1945 type) to go along with the H-class battleships they already produce.

Thought the Sherman's look nice, there is nothing in this batch that is compelling enough for me to five in. I am trying to get through my backlog of stuff, which includes the work on my kursk regiment. Looking forward to the next release to temped me.

I'm projecting one battery to join the German Panzerhaubitz regiment, maybe two, and an 18-piece battalion to support the Stryker brigade. I MAY get a couple packs to put turrets on M109 chassis or Panzerhaubitz chassis, since I'm not ready to give up tracked arty, but the RCH system looks very good. The Germans are considering a tracked version.

Canada has announced it intends to acquire 100 LAV6 chassis mated with RCH turrets. Would be ideal candidates for your US Stryker brigades, as well. Would like to see that, GHQ!

The LAV Grizzly SPH. I’ll definitely like to have a model of that for my Canadians.

They're here! They're here!

My wife doesn't understand my excitement.

Wife: "Why don't you get that excited when I get home?"

Me: "You're not a self propelled howitzer, Babe"

All the detail and quality we have come to expect from GHQ. The only gluing required is attaching the remote weapons station to the turret. It's tiny but the post slides into the hole easy peasy.

Just a word of caution when opening the pack. It is one single blister with all the parts mixed in, not the small compartmentalized blisters. The little RWS pieces can bounce around and get stuck behind the foam pad. If you are too overzealous when opening the pack you may find yourself on your hands and knees looking for pieces. Not that it happened to me or anything, No no, just that it could happen.

Another thing that's great about that model: it basically gives us a base chassis on which to do our own conversions, just as the full-scale-boxer is intended to do.

GHQs existing Boxer and CRT-versions are hollow on the inside and therefore get a bit unstable when cutting off the roof...

That is a good point STS. I have been dabbling a little into kit bashing, myself and I have to say its a different level of fun that is very satisfying if you pull it off. Mine has been a small changes here and there, but it does increase the amount of things kit that you can have from GHQ.

I will need to place an order soon. My Russians will need some of the M4A2 76mm one of these days plus the standard M4A2 might be needed at some point. I still have to place an order for some of the other recent items such as the IS-1 and a few others.
