That is funny, PG!

I just finished a scout platoon and the maintenance section for F Troop.

Maintenance section: They may not be the pride of the troop, but without'em, the Pride don't RIDE!

2nd Squadron HQ is ready.......sort of. HHT is still a long way off, but the boys need some adult supervision so I got a small command group done. A pair of Brads for the CO and S3, some hard tops for CO, XO, CSM, and Chaplain, plus an M577 to serve as a TAC.

I also finished up a few tracks for G Troop. F Troop is waiting on machine guns for the tanks. Part of the refurb includes adding MGs to the tanks, which I originally left off way back in the day. Apparently I mismanaged the arms room though and I ran out of MG sprus. Now I am just waiting for the latest parts order to arrive.

Currently the Regiment is at 25% strength overall.

Ok, Mister. You can expect an Article 32 investigation over those machineguns. And CID and the FBI will be in to speak with you.

LOL No doubt I am on their radar!

I lost the bag for my night vision goggles when I was a platoon leader during an NTC rotation once. Not the goggles or any accessories, just the bag for it. The battery commander launched a huge investigation and I was pretty sure I was going to get fired or court martialed or something! After a while everyone everyone lost interest and just forgot about it!

My supply sergeant would have traded for a replacement and nobody would have known. He was GOOD about that stuff. No need to pole vault over mouse turds, which seems to be a favorite response.

Looking very nice Redleg.
great story line, events. Glad that you did NOT get in serious trouble.
Besides, the bag is on the military reservation to this day.

Did anyone else see this story about how the Irish took first place in this year's Best Bradley competition, even though Ireland doesn't have an Bradleys? LOL I feel like I need to paint a Bradley for them with an Irish flag!

On a personal note, I was eating lunch at Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo sometime in 2002 I think when a squad of Irish grunts came in and sat at my table. Great bunch of guys! I think an Irish contingent for JTF-P is in order!

My work bench looks a little odd at the moment. I ran out of MGs for the refurb effort and I refuse to paint turrets without the MGs glued on, so I have 12 tanks for F and G troops with painted hulls and bare turrets. I just checked ULLS-G and the parts are supposed to arrive on Thursday.

Of course, your Irish Bradleys will be... GREEN!

You might reconstitute the Civil War's Irish Brigade as a cavalry regiment...

F Troop is finally done! The MGs arrived from GHQ a couple days ago and I made short work of those turrets! Callsign Fox. Nothing fancy here, it's identical to A, B, C, and E Troops. With this troop, the regiment is now at 27% complete.

Ain't NUTHIN' like US CAVALRY REGIMENT!!! Well, there wasn't in the 1980s and early '90s, anyway.
