Nice stuff, Chris. Especially your converted YPG 765. The 25mm seems a good addition. Just wondering if, on modern IFVs, something bigger wouldn't be warranted. These 30mm guns seem to do a lot of damage in the Ukraine war...

The 30mm does seem to be highly effective. I believe it has the same dimensions as the 30mm on the A-10. Without the DU and not having the angle of the top attack. What would a regular 30mm be able to break through, a STAG 5 armor level? STAG 3?

The smaller one is a a SADF Denel Rooivalk.

I did use a wash, black wash and a muddy-orange wash, IIRC.

CoC Airborne anti-tank vehicles. One has a Vulcan turret.



Russian T-90 variants, might be a kitbash on the commanders HMG on one-two. Also two BTR-80 with SO-120 mm turret. This was inspired by Ukraine-Russia conflict.
I plan to do a couple other groups of 2-3 vehicles for a side,

Very nice stuff, Chris. The current war in Ukraine is a daunting project IMO, with all these "cope cages" sprouting on top of all sorts of vehicles for anti-drone protection. Must not be easy to kitbash... makes me wonder whether GHQ is pondering the matter.

Nice work. If I'm correct, this is the up-armored version of the 10RC. This was done after the Cold War.

The AMX-10 RC is the uparmored model, certainly as compared to CinC.
Do you know if the French, Quatar (or anyone else) is using the AMX-10RC? Or the VABs 4x4 or 8x8?

Pickup of these M109s. I’ve added the green, black, some brown, and elevated the barrels. Need to add ink on the tracks.

We are definitely still using both of them. Our new Griffons haven't yet reached sufficient numbers. Apparently, Qatar is still having a few 10RC, but outside of France, Morocco is the biggest user. We also have given a few to Ukraine.

The VAB is more prolific, many countries still use it, some of them having them given by France as we are upgrading our APCs. Ukraine, of course, but also a lot of African countries. Morrocco still uses it profusely.

A fun anecdote about the VAB : in the eighties, IIRC, Thailand was contemplating purchasing APCs, and the VAB was a competitor. The demo team had forgotten to replace the display stand rear doors (unarmored) with the normal ones... and when during the tests, a pistol was fired at the vehicle, the bullet went right through the rear doors. Needless to say, the market was lost.... Ah, the vagaries of weapons sales!
