Not a bad list!

Still no AMV 8x8 that I was hoping for, but there is plenty to keep me interested. Good to see the people's choices of the Cold War Soviet support weapons and M60A2 are early on. I'm really looking forward to the Chinese stuff and the Strykers late in the releases too. :D

I just saw the list, and posted on it. It looks even better with the schedule! There are a few things that I didn't notice in the first post, and they are really good ones! The N577 with the tent out is neat, that will be good for an objective piece. The M60A2 got on the list, and it wasn't even the highest vote getter. I missed the Stormer with the Starstreak, that will be cool.

Once again, nice list!

Thanks!

Looks like a good calendar, a good year for new items.
I am looking forward to the items this year.

I don't suppose the new M60A2 could have the gun barrel without the bore evacuator... I have two battalions of M60A2s with the bore evacuator on the barrel. Since we could have either type, and did, in my battalion, I could use a few without, too, without having to modify the gun barrel myself. The gun without the bore evacuator was the later type. Those with the bore evacuator had them welded shut, since the closed breach scavenger system did the work of clearing the gun of residue.

I am looking forward to the M577 with extension, too.

Dear GHQ,

I was at Bovvy TankFest2017 at the weekend and they had some Modern Brit Engineering vehicles on display and showing what they could do.

They had:
Titan
Trojan
CRARRV
Terrier
Warrior REME

I took some photos and tried to get piccies of areas of the vehicle you might not normally be able to see.

I've uploaded them to my OneDrive in a folder at:
Link_to_ModBritEngVehs

Hopefully the pictures can be seen (never know if it works).

Hope they may be of use,

Cheers,

B

And can we get rid of the sticky for voting for a new modern release? perhaps replace it with a vote for a WW2 one for next year or a mid-year 'surprise'?

I agree with the sticky/unsticky comments, it will make things easier to see.

I also wanted to point out that I think that I found 2 items on the new release schedule that were not on the originally announced list that had everything jumbled together. Both of these are modern Chinese, and it makes sense that they would be added to build up the Chinese line.

China- ZBD-08 IFV
China- AFT-10 ATGM

Were these on the original announcement? Were they added when the actual schedule of the releases was posted?

Either way, I'm happy to see them.

Very much looking forward to the Type 052D DDG.

The US Whidbey Island LSD will be a good addition. The Harpers Ferry LSD is very similar. Any possibility that we could get one kit that does both or a kit for each ship that shares a hull and most of the superstructure?

Get in on all of the Black Friday madness with GHQ! We will make it short, and sweet- use the discount code BLACK20 and receive 20% off on your ENTIRE ORDER that is over $100 in merchandise. This code will activate on Friday November 24th, 2017 at 12:01am, and will be valid for 30 hours. This is good for all GHQ products (special orders of spare parts are not included).

Who: You
What: Saving huge amounts of money
Why: Because you used the BLACK20 discount code on your order of over $100 in merchandise
Where: www.ghqmodels.com
When: November 24, 2017 12:01 am

There is no need to stop at $100 in your online shopping because the more you have in your cart, the more money that you will save. Load it up, and watch your savings grow!

For those of you who may not be familiar with Black Friday, here is a little background. There are a few different stories about it, but the one that we are going with is the Friday after Thanksgiving in the USA is the day that retailers usually go from being “in the redâ€￾ to being “in the blackâ€￾ on their accounting books. This is often a day filled with huge sales, and doorbusters to lure everyone into the stores as early as possible…some people even camp out so that they can be sure to get the doorbusters. There is usually a huge stampede of shoppers when the doors open, and occasionally people get trampled. There are sometimes fights amongst shoppers for the last of the doorbusters.

Here at GHQ we truly appreciate all of you, and would like to see you all save a huge amount of money without the risk of bodily harm, or death. That’s why we have our Black Friday sale as an online discount code. However, if any of you are feeling left out of the Black Friday chaos, please feel free to invite a few friends over, bring the group outside of your house at 11:50, lock the door, then open the door at 12:01, and see who can get to the computer first to put in an order. You could even offer prizes for the first to get an order placed, and the person who ended up saving the most.

If you want to add a little ambiance, you can play this video in the background for ambiance:

GHQ

Why is it written that a release is on December 31, and then it is only on January 2? It's not the first time. Why do not you write on January 2nd?
