We are looking forward to seeing your obsolete frigates in the ROD! We'll have you make port in San Andreas. We do love to visit museum ships when we can!

Obsolete. Not quite as its quad box launcher is fitted with the new advanced Naval Strike Missiles from Norway. We could give you a demonstration of the NSM missile out on the firing range if you like, they are really good missiles as we used them during a Sinkex last month on the rusty hulks of the cancelled Type 26 Frigates.

Sorry Dude - you can gold plate a Type 21 but it's still an obsolete ship. You sunk brand new Type 26 frigates, turned some into transports, turned one into a McDonalds, and you strapped some new toys onto a ship that was designed 60 years ago.

Well at the end of the day, the Type 26 River Class is consigned to the history books as a expensive technological boondoggle and a total embarrassment to the RCN, and a major financial loss to Irving shipbuilding, that went defunct afterwards. Seaspan NC has since taken over operations, and this is the shipbuilder that is building new Type 21s as part of a fleet expansion.

San Andreas ROD
The RCN Pacific Patrol has arrived at the ROD on the first leg of the trip, its brand new Type 21 Frigate HMCS Bluenose has officially opened for public tours featuring on display at docks the ships most advanced Naval Strike Missile, along with photos from the RCN's recent sinkex to show the kind of damage these missiles can do. and if the ROD navy is interested will take the bluenose out to the firing range.

The RCN pacific patrol has left the ROD this evening bound for the second leg of their patrol, though the crew of the Type 21 and its designer from Seaspan NC who is onboard, Edward Woolworth is disappointed that the bluenose will not get to try out the ships NSM missiles at their firing range.

This afternoon the ROD State Department added Pax Global Tours to its list of restricted companies due to unsafe business practices. While their ships are apparently very sturdy, taking civilian customers on a “new tourist destination route” to a nation that is experiencing both a civil war and a possible outbreak of Ebola is reckless and irresponsible.

ROD citizens and companies are forbidden from doing business with Pax Global Tours, and their ships are not permitted to enter ROD waters.

After seeing the ROD building the Type 26 ships. The NC government is inquiring on contracting your shipyards to potentially build the 15 Type 26 River Class Destroyers for the RCN? in order to try again replace our old vessels still in service. We ask that you to build and deliver the ships, and our yards in British Columbia will install the weapons ourselves.

So let me make sure I understand your request.

RCN had several Type 26 vessels but determined them to be “failed ships”, ”cursed ships”, and “too far gone to be of any use”. They were converted to mail couriers, transports, and a McFrigate. Eventually some were scrapped and others sunk.

And now you want us to build you some more?

Not saying we won’t do it, just pointing out that NC has a lousy track record of acquiring new systems and then scrapping them in short order. They are very expensive, but if NC publicly declares that the ROD has the best shipbuilding facilities in the Western Pacific, we will build you some ships.

thank you for accepting our request for building the Type 26 River Class. This is part of a plan to send out contracts to foreign defence companies of other nations to build units for the NC military in order to avoid future project failures.

The one change to the Type 26 that needs to be addressed is her 26 Knot speed, that is too slow for doing International patrols, her horsepower needs to be uprated so she can go up to 30 to 32 Knots to keep up with the rest of the fleet.

The RCN has reduced its Type 26 Class Destoryer from your shipyard to one as a prototype. as we are planning to run a design competition this month due to other offers being presented.

Why did I know NC would order stuff and then change their mind?

Forget it. You can have 0 prototypes and the ROD Navy will keep the Type 26s that we have already started working on.
